HBCU Twin Cities 2027

Terms & conditions

Effective October 2, 2026

These terms govern use of the HBCU Twin Cities website and its registration, inquiry, and partner-interest forms. The summit is presented by Urban Youth Conservation | The Urban Conservation and We Educate Brilliant Minds.

Event information

The summit dates are February 19–20, 2027 in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. The venue, daily times, participating institutions, session details, and capacity will be announced or confirmed separately. Event logistics and programming may change; organizers will provide updates when available.

Registration and participation

Please provide accurate information and use the category that describes your participation. A saved form confirms that your information was received, not an admission decision, college application, school-visit booking, scholarship award, volunteer assignment, invitation, or reserved event seat. Any arrangements requiring additional confirmation will be confirmed by the organizers.

Attendance and proposed fees

Student and family summit attendance is free. High schools, advisors, and general alumni summit attendance are also free. HBCU and sponsor package fees are published in USD for the 2027 summit. Limited HBCU tiers have five Initiative places, three Opportunity places, and one Legacy place; Campus Partner covers remaining institution places. Founding HBCU details are agreed separately. Availability and fulfillment are confirmed in a separate written partnership agreement. No payment is collected, and submitting a form creates no payment obligation. Paid benefits, cancellation rules, payment deadlines, and refunds must be stated in a separate written agreement before any paid commitment. Separate alumni activities may have their own terms if later announced.

Institution and sponsor portals

Protected portals require ChatGPT sign-in. An account identifies the registrant; it does not certify institutional affiliation, approve a sponsor, or establish a partnership. Representatives must be authorized to submit information for their organization. Organizers may verify affiliation before confirming participation.

Students and adult submissions

Student self-registration is for ages 13 and older. Younger students should be represented by a parent or authorized adult through an adult form. Adults providing information about a student must have authority to do so. School group registration does not replace any required school permission, individual registration, transportation arrangements, or supervision.

Scholarships, admissions, and school listings

Admissions decisions, scholarships, financial aid, athletics eligibility, internships, and employment are controlled by the relevant institutions or providers. The summit does not guarantee admission, funding, placement, or recruitment outcomes. The school selection directory is for recording interests and alumni affiliations; it is not a list of confirmed exhibitors and does not certify accreditation or current admissions availability.

Acceptable use

Do not submit false information, impersonate others, send abusive or unlawful content, introduce malicious files or code, scrape attendee information, or interfere with the site. We may restrict misuse and remove inappropriate submissions.

Privacy and communications

Your information is handled under the privacy policy. Optional event updates require the preferences recorded on your form. Registration does not automatically authorize sharing personal contact lists with institutions, sponsors, or other alumni. No photography or publicity release is included in these terms.

Early Application Profiles

The Apply Early form is a preliminary college-access profile received by summit organizers for review and potential forwarding to the applicant’s selected HBCU. It is not an official college admissions application, a binding early-decision agreement, or guaranteed delivery to an institution. Colleges set their own admissions requirements, deadlines, document verification and fees. Self-reported academic information may need verification. A fee-waiver request is an inquiry, not approval. The form records typed signatures, submission time, acknowledgements and selected-school sharing permission; applicants under 18 require parent or guardian approval. No payment is collected. The application acknowledgement does not waive legal rights.

Website content

Brand marks and website content belong to their respective owners. Do not imply endorsement or reuse brand marks without permission. Illustrative experience images represent the event concept and are not photographs of the 2027 summit.

Website availability

We aim to keep the site accurate and available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or that every description remains current. If a form reports an error, your submission is not confirmed; keep your information and try again. Use the confirmation reference when asking about a saved form.

Questions or changes

Use the category-specific question form to contact the organizing team. Updated terms will be posted here with an effective date. Separate written agreements govern any confirmed paid institutional or sponsor participation.
