Legacy & Excellence presents

The Legacy Affair

Legacy in Gold.

Wear your pride. Bring your people.
Celebrate the legacy we carry—and the future we build.

Twin Cities, Minnesota · Venue and evening times to be announced

A little polish. A lot of pride.

HBCU spirit. Twin Cities energy.

The summit opens doors. The evening brings us together. Join alumni, friends and community for a semi-formal social celebrating the music, connections and culture that make HBCU pride unforgettable.

This is a social celebration with space to mingle and dance, without a seated dinner. Daytime summit attendance remains free for students and families.

The evening we’re planning

Come for the connection.
Stay for the celebration.

Your people, your pride

Alumni connections, school shout-outs and new friendships across campuses and generations.

03 / THE MOMENT

Make a little history

A planned photo moment and a brief celebration of the legacy and excellence that bring us together.

04 / THE WELCOME

The dress code

Semi-formal.
Make it yours. Make it gold.

Think cocktail dresses, polished jumpsuits, tailored suits, dress shirts, blazers and dressy separates. Add a touch of gold—a pocket square, jewelry, shoes or another favorite accent—or bring your HBCU colors into the look.

Gold is an invitation, not a requirement. You do not need an all-gold outfit or a tuxedo. Choose comfortable shoes and come ready to celebrate.
